I had the pleasure of coaching the expert today while Coach Bird takes a rest bit in Mexico. Lucky me! Honestly, the coaching went sort of like this,"That looked great!" or "Can you tell me what was wrong with that dive?" "Short." "Long." Mostly, Sean and Gracia were teaching me. It's amazing how much the coach needs to see in that split second it takes to do the dive! Here in the photo with me is Gracia. Gracia is one of the top divers in the country. She held this handstand for several minutes while I took handstand poses around her. Look at the toe point on her! I have still got a ways to go to be just a fraction of the handstand artist Gracia is.
